This site has been created for use by tutors and clinicians responsible for the teaching of Manchester Medical undergraduates together with undergraduate administrators and invited students. By joining this site, members are becoming part of a community which seeks to share and provide information on curriculum development and delivery with the aim of improving the educational experience of students and the knowledge and participation of tutors. All members of e-llaborate should be aware that this site is managed and monitored by the University of Manchester and as such is subject to University rules and regulation in addition to health care regulations and professional standards.
By joining ellaborate I agree to the Terms and Conditions and abide by the code of conduct.
By joining the e-llaborate community I agree that I will:
- Act in a professional and ethical manner, be polite and respect other members. I will not intimidate or harass another member of the community by being intimidating, threatening, abusive or otherwise offensive towards another person.
- Maintain confidentiality of colleagues and patients in any postings or uploads by ensuring all content is identifiable or potentially identifiable. If the identity of the colleague or patient is relevant to the discussion, then you must have the express permission of the person concerned.
- Not upload, post, transmit, share, store or otherwise make available any content that we deem to be harmful, threatening, unlawful, defamatory, infringing, abusive, inflammatory, harassing, vulgar, obscene, fraudulent, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable.
- Register for only one User account and not register for a User account on behalf of an individual other than myself. Nor will I impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent myself, my age or my affiliation with any person or entity.
- Post information and content which is relevant and in the interests of the community. I will not share or otherwise make available any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, solicitations, promotional materials, "junk mail," "spam," "chain letters," "pyramid schemes," or any other form of solicitation.
- Only upload, post, transmit, share or otherwise make available material that is free from software viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment.
- Comply with all applicable laws, regulations and conventions, including those related to privacy, personal data, international communications, or the export of technical data.
- Not upload, post, transmit, share, store or otherwise make available content that, in the judgment of the community, is objectionable or which restricts or inhibits any other person from using or enjoying the Site, or which may expose the community or its members to any harm or liability of any type.
- Extend all rules of professional practice that relate to face to face meetings and consultations. I understand that e-llaborate is seen as an extension of daily practice and subject to the same codes of practice which exist within the NHS.

In return for the University of Manchester providing access to this site and its services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
